Who says meatless can’t be mighty? These Vegetarian Quesadillas are packed with bold flavor thanks to El Popular Vegetarian Chorizo and melty Muenster cheese. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, they’re perfect for quick lunches, easy dinners, or anytime cravings hit.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 oz.) of El Popular Vegetarian Chorizo Mild or Picante
  • Muenster Cheese
  • 12 Flour Tortilla

Directions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place a flour tortilla in the pan and warm for about 30 seconds per side, flipping once.
  • Add El Popular Vegetarian Chorizo and a slice of Muenster cheese to one half of the tortilla.
  • Fold the tortilla in half to form a quesadilla.
  • Cook for a few minutes on both sides, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm, cut into wedges, and garnish with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.

  • Place desired amount in a non-stick skillet.
  • Break up Vegetarian Chorizo while cooking over medium heat.
