Vicente F. Garza, the founder of El Popular brand Mexican food products, migrated from Monterrey, Mexico to the United States in 1925. On his journey to the Chicago area, he brought with him his family recipes along with a unique entrepreneurial spirit.

In 1923, Vicente F.
