Ingredients

  • 1 ½ links (8 oz) El Popular Chorizo (any flavor profile we offer)

  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • Use with any meal including mixed with nuts, cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, salads, and much more!

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Remove Chorizo from casing and place in med skillet. Cook halfway (about 2 min) until Chorizo breaks up into crumbly pieces.

  • Mix brown sugar, rice vinegar, & maple syrup in a small bowl. Add Chorizo to bowl and mix.

  • Transfer to baking sheet lined with foil, spreading evenly and flat.

  • Bake for 10 min, stir, and bake another 5 min or until Chorizo is brown (not burned).

  • Let cool until room temp. then transfer to fridge to further solidify.

  • Get creative and make any dish magical!

Directions

  • Add 2 cups of chicken broth to a large skillet.

  • Heat over a low flame.

  • Slowly add El Popular Mole Paste or Powder until desired thickness is obtained.

  • Keep warm.
