Longaniza 101

Longaniza is a flavorful seasoned sausage with roots in Spanish cuisine that was later embraced and adapted in Mexico. It’s a sausage similar to Chorizo, but is perfect for grilling since it is firmer and doesn’t crumble when cooking due to being in a natural casing (like a bratwurst). Longaniza is a versatile ingredient that adds bold, authentic flavor to breakfast dishes, tacos, and family meals.
